Your Role And Responsibilities
About the job:
- Collaborate with the Project team within a DevOps framework.
- Direct the continuous integration, continuous deployment, and continuous testing processes.
- Partner closely with both development and operations teams to devise a DevOps strategy and toolkit tailored to specific squads.
- Establish, deploy, and maintain robust, scalable systems with high availability.
- Execute and automate the deployment and security hardening of systems.
- Construct and enhance scalable containerized systems/environments utilizing the latest technologies (e.g., Redhat Openshift, MLOps tools, etc.).
- Automate security hardening during testing, deployment, and production setups, adhering to industry best practices.
- Configure and sustain CI/CD, automated testing, and development and delivery environments.
- Create scripts/programs for system monitoring and health checks.
- Manage daily monitoring, backup, deployment, and system maintenance.
- Proficient in cloud orchestration, configuration management, and auto-scaling methodologies.
- Experienced in creating and developing CI/CD pipelines and workflows (preferably Gitlab CI/CD).
- Skilled in building and managing container image pipelines.
- Proficient with automation tools such as Ansible/Terraform.
- Familiar with load balancing setups for TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, and routing.
- Knowledgeable about IT security standards, including CIS.
- Solid hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code for configuration management and application deployment.
- Proficient in one or more programming languages (Java, Python).
- Knowledgeable in continuous integration, test automation, version control, and software configuration management.
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Communications Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in system analysis, design, and programming.
- Experience with software-defined infrastructure (OpenStack).
- Familiarity with infrastructure provisioning tools (Docker, Ansible, etc.).
- Strong understanding of hardware infrastructure systems (network switches, firewalls, routers, etc.) and Linux operating systems.
- At least 1 year of experience in creating and managing CI/CD pipelines, as well as implementing DevOps principles and practices. Knowledge of DevSecOps is a plus.
- Self-driven with excellent communication skills. Hands-on experience in using AWS Cloud Formation scripts for configuration management and application deployment.
- At least 1 year of experience working with cloud provisioned resources. Experience with Linux, Windows, and network troubleshooting is an advantage.
- Experience in an Agile environment, collaborating closely with developers. Knowledge in continuous integration, test automation, version control, and software configuration management is required.
- Outstanding communication skills.
- Familiarity with Scripting Technologies: Exposure to scripting technologies such as JavaScript and CSS is advantageous for developing cloud solutions. This knowledge can be leveraged to create customized solutions for clients.
- Knowledge of Angular.js: Familiarity with Angular.js is beneficial for crafting cloud solutions, enabling the delivery of versatile and effective solutions to clients.
