Job Description

In this role, reporting to the Finance Director, you will:

• Steer the comprehensive finance agenda throughout Asia, offering strategic guidance on planning, reporting, controls, and decision-making support
• Collaborate with regional leadership teams on commercial, operational, and investment choices to enhance performance and business results.
• Assist in strategic initiatives, including M&A assessments, investment evaluations, business cases, and integration processes
• Serve as the regional finance authority for internal and external audit activities, ensuring strong governance and compliance standards
• Oversee statutory and management reporting across various entities, ensuring alignment with group standards
• Lead the regional Controlling and FP&A functions, promoting planning, forecasting, and performance management processes
• Advocate for finance transformation, process enhancements, and improved decision support across multiple nations and business units.

The Successful Applicant

• Possess a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field; a professional accounting qualification (CPA, CA, ACCA, or equivalent) is preferred.
• Have a minimum of 15 years of experience in a finance leadership role, preferably within multinational manufacturing, industrial, or engineering sectors.
• Exhibit a demonstrated history of leading regional finance teams across various countries and implementing organizational change or finance transformation projects.
• Display strong commercial finance and business partnering skills, with experience in influencing senior stakeholders and operational executives.
• Showcase leadership qualities with excellent communication, stakeholder management, and talent development abilities.
