EHS Specialist

Exciting Career Opportunity:

• Type of Position: Permanent
• Location: Central Office
• Working Schedule: Monday to Friday
• Compensation: $4,800 - $6,500 Basic Salary + AWS + VB

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Compliance and License Oversight: Manage the EHS Management System to ensure full compliance with corporate policies and governmental laws. You will directly handle the application, monitoring, and timely renewal of all necessary local authority licenses, permits, and certifications.
• Safety Programs, Audits, and Risk Management: Lead comprehensive safety, health, and environmental initiatives to foster a secure working environment. Collaborate with the EHS Committee to facilitate monthly meetings, conduct site inspections, monitor industrial hygiene, and assess risks associated with hazardous substances.
• Incident Oversight and Collaboration with WSH: Work closely with the Workplace Safety Officer (WSO) to review, update, and manage incidents both on-site and off-site. Implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and assess safe work practices to mitigate risks and strive for a Zero Harm environment.
• Audit Preparation and Documentation Management: Act as the main point of contact for external certification organizations, coordinating and scheduling assessments. Compile and meticulously organize all essential documentation to ensure readiness for both internal and external audits.
• Culture Building, Training, and Stakeholder Support: Serve as the subject matter expert, delivering clear SHE and security guidance to employees, contractors, and visitors. Actively promote a safety-first culture by spearheading engaging health and safety campaigns within the organization.

Candidate Profile:

• Possession of a Diploma/Degree in Engineering
• A minimum of 3 - 5 years of EHS experience within petrochemical, oil & gas, pharmaceutical, or hazardous sectors
