System Engineer (CCTV)

Essential Skills: Knowledge of CCTV systems, Electrical & Cabling (Power & Network)

Desirable Skills: Supervision of contractors, safety on construction sites, troubleshooting issues, and understanding of mechanical and civil works

Job Overview: The perfect candidate will have:

• A diploma in Information Technology, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field

• 1-3 years of experience in the administration, configuration, and troubleshooting of security surveillance hardware and software

Key Responsibilities:

• Strong knowledge and practical experience with software and hardware systems, including:
• IP CCTV Systems
• Perimeter Protection Systems (PPS)
• Physical Security Information Management Systems (PSIM)
• Video Management Systems (VMS)
• Audiovisual Systems
• Evaluate, plan, implement (network, system, infrastructure, applications), test, and manage advanced integrated perimeter, video surveillance, and video analytics security systems.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to fulfill client service delivery agreements
• Coordinate efforts with contractors and clients
• Partner with stakeholders to identify and resolve technical issues, supporting both preventive and corrective maintenance
• Comprehend technical documentation, installation manuals, system drawings, etc.
• Read and interpret construction drawings, floor plans, etc.
• Continuously seek to enhance processes and introduce innovative technologies to improve security and elevate customer satisfaction
• Expertise in electrical power and a solid understanding of power cabling for on-site tasks
• Familiarity with technical documents, manuals, and as-built system drawings
• Ability to work autonomously without supervision while maintaining effective communication with team members, partners, and clients
• Support the maintenance team to ensure system availability and reliability meet customer expectations
• Perform other technical tasks as required
• Knowledge of construction site safety and regulatory standards
