In the role of Cloud Developer, you will be tasked with the design and development of software solutions through both Agile and waterfall methodologies. You will engage in close collaboration with Business Analysts and Quality Engineers to refine user stories, automate testing processes, and address bugs. Your duties will include establishing continuous integration workflows, providing estimates for sprint planning, and developing automated unit tests. Additionally, you will troubleshoot system issues, support production environments, and advocate for Agile technical methodologies. A strong background in Commercial Cloud deployment, system implementation, and the design of standardized services such as Terraform is crucial. Experience with Government Commercial Cloud will be considered a significant advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop software solutions utilizing waterfall and Agile methodologies.
• Investigate and troubleshoot issues by creating scripts and SQL queries.
• Collaborate closely with Business Analysts and Quality Engineers/application testers to elaborate user stories, automate tests, and resolve bugs.
• Partner with deployment and DevOps teams to establish continuous integration and automate build and release processes.
• Provide story estimates during Agile sprint planning.
• Transform acceptance criteria into automated unit test cases.
• Support production issues and participate in duty rotation for after-hours assistance.
• Promote Agile technical practices, including test-driven development, pair programming, and code refactoring.
• Contribute to application deployment across various environments within the CSP (Cloud Service Provider).

Qualifications:

• Proficient in Commercial Cloud deployment and system implementation.
• Experienced in the design and implementation of common services such as Terraform in Commercial Cloud.
• Familiarity with Government Commercial Cloud is a plus and may enhance your application.
