Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Delivery

• Own end-to-end delivery of Responsible AI and enterprise AI initiatives, ensuring projects are completed within approved scope, budget, and timelines.
• Manage initiatives spanning AI platforms, AI Gateway, AI Hub, enterprise platform enhancements, infrastructure upgrades, AI-enabled SDLC capabilities, and AI use case adoption.
• Create and maintain project plans, milestones, budgets, resourcing, risks, issues, and dependencies.

Project Initiation & Procurement

• Lead project initiation activities, including business case development, funding proposals, project sizing, resource planning, and governance approvals.
• Assist with procurement and sourcing efforts, including RFI/RFP preparation, vendor evaluations, due diligence, commercial assessments, and approval workflows.

Stakeholder & Vendor Management

• Coordinate with business, technology, architecture, infrastructure, security, risk, compliance, procurement, and vendor teams.
• Drive stakeholder engagement, enable decision-making, resolve operational and delivery issues, and manage escalations.
• Deliver regular management reporting, project updates, and executive presentations.

Governance, Risk & Compliance

• Maintain alignment with project governance and established SDLC/SDM, architecture, security, risk, procurement, and delivery processes.
• Track project risks, issues, dependencies, and delivery controls in a regulated environment.

Implementation & Change Management

• Contribute to solution rollout, change management, and the adoption of AI platforms and capabilities.
• Monitor benefits realisation and measure adoption of AI use cases and enterprise AI solutions.

Key Requirements

• 15+ years of experience leading complex technology and transformation programmes within the banking or financial services industry.
• Demonstrated experience in project initiation, business case development, funding approvals, procurement, vendor management, and delivery governance.
• Good knowledge of project governance, SDLC/SDM, risk management, and delivery controls within a regulated environment.
• Experience in Responsible AI, Generative AI, data and analytics, cloud, or digital transformation initiatives is preferred.
• Understanding of AI governance, model risk management, and Responsible AI principles.
• Familiarity with Generative AI platforms including Microsoft Copilot, Azure OpenAI, ChatGPT, and AI assistants.
• Knowledge of prompt engineering, AI use case design, and process automation solutions such as RPA and Power Automate is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including macros, plus PowerPoint and SharePoint experience with JIRA is preferred.
• Experience with data analysis and visualisation tools such as Power BI and SQL is an advantage.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and executive presentation skills, with the ability to engage business, technology, risk, and compliance stakeholders.
• Self-driven and resilient, with the ability to handle ambiguity, manage competing priorities, and deliver results under pressure.
