Pharmacist

Position Overview

We are looking for a committed pharmacist to oversee medication management with precision and deliver outstanding pharmacy services. This position requires collaboration with healthcare professionals and oversight of pharmacy operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Examine patient medication records and prescriptions for suitability, reaching out to prescribing physicians when necessary. Accurately and efficiently process all drug orders. Confirm prescriptions and dispense medications while offering patient counseling. Manage the discharge processes for both inpatients and outpatients. Supply drug-related information and assistance to the medical team. Prepare customized pharmaceutical products as required. Keep accurate inventory records and perform stock assessments to ensure sufficient supply levels. Oversee the activities of Pharmacy Assistants and Pharmacy Technicians. Coordinate with external physicians and hospital-based Resident Medical Officers as required. Undertake additional tasks as assigned by the Senior Pharmacist or Pharmacy Manager. Ensure adherence to legal standards concerning the sale and distribution of medicinal products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited institution recognized by the appropriate authority. Registration with the Pharmacy Council is mandatory. Strong team-oriented individual with integrity and honesty. Capability to work autonomously and effectively manage time. Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
