Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Pega Developer to join our team as an Associate/Senior Associate - Projects, requiring 3 to 7 years of relevant experience. The successful candidate will possess extensive hands-on expertise in Pega frameworks, including Case Management, User Experience, Data & Integration, Application Development, Reporting, and the Pega Platform. This role involves working in an Agile/Scrum environment on both enhancements and new build projects.

Key Responsibilities

. Design and execute Pega-based solutions that address business needs through enhancements and new service requests.

. Leverage Pega frameworks to ensure the development of robust, scalable, and reusable application architectures that adhere to industry best practices and enterprise standards.

. Use Pega Case Management to design, optimize, and automate intricate business workflows, thereby improving operational efficiency.

. Create user-friendly interfaces based on Pega User Experience (UX) principles to enhance usability and foster adoption.

. Integrate Pega applications with a variety of internal and external data sources and systems (including REST/SOA integrations and connectors) to facilitate seamless data flow.

. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—including business analysts, architects, QA, and stakeholders—to define and implement effective integration strategies and solutions.

. Perform comprehensive unit, integration, and performance testing, along with debugging of Pega applications to ensure optimal performance, quality, and reliability.

. Offer technical support, conduct root-cause analysis, and troubleshoot issues for Pega applications, ensuring prompt resolution of production issues.

. Develop and maintain Pega reports and dashboards to provide valuable insights for business decision-making.

. Document all aspects of the development process, configurations, technical designs, and modifications for future reference, compliance, and audit purposes.

. Stay updated with the latest releases, tools, and best practices within the Pega platform, proactively suggesting improvements.

. Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and Agile/Scrum ceremonies to deliver high-quality solutions within agreed timelines and scope.

. Mentor junior developers on best practices related to Pega, coding standards, and application lifecycle management.

. Demonstrate proficiency in Pega Case Management by designing and implementing complex, multi-step workflows.

. Exhibit expertise in Pega User Experience by creating user-centric designs that enhance usability and accessibility.

. Apply in-depth knowledge of Pega Data and Integration to ensure smooth connectivity with databases, APIs, and third-party systems.

. Showcase strong capabilities in Pega Application Development, covering all phases from requirement analysis and design to build, testing, and deployment.

. Utilize Pega Platform features (such as rulesets, class structures, security models, and agents/queue processors) to develop scalable enterprise applications.

Qualifications & Skills

. 3-7 years of practical experience in Pega development (Pega PRPC / Pega Platform 7.x/8.x or later).

. Comprehensive knowledge of Pega Case Management, Pega Application Development, Pega Data and Integration, Pega User Experience, and Pega Reporting.

. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies (PegaSCRUM experience is preferred).

. Sound understanding of Pega rulesets, class structures, decision rules, flows, and security frameworks.

. Proven experience in integrating Pega with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, connectors, and services.

. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities for complex production challenges.

. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work well within cross-functional and multicultural teams.

. Experience with Pega Decision Hub, Pega Mobility, or Pega RPA is a plus.

. Domain knowledge in areas such as BFSI, Insurance, Healthcare, or Asset & Wealth Management is advantageous.

Certifications Required

Certified Pega System Architect (CSA) is mandatory; Certified Pega Senior System Architect (CSSA) is preferred.
