OTM Consultant

Job Overview:

• A typical day for an Infoscion
• In your role within the Infosys consulting team, you will play a crucial part in supporting various phases of projects, including problem definition, effort estimation, diagnosis, solution development, and implementation
• You will investigate alternatives to proposed solutions through research that encompasses literature reviews, publicly available information, vendor assessments, and other resources
• Additionally, you will create Proofs of Concept (POCs)
• Your responsibilities will include drafting requirement specifications based on business needs, defining target processes, and producing comprehensive functional designs aligned with those requirements
• You will assist in configuring solution requirements within products, diagnosing any issues, determining root causes, seeking clarifications, and identifying potential solution alternatives
• Furthermore, you will engage in unit-level and organizational initiatives aimed at delivering high-quality, value-added solutions for our clients

Core Responsibilities:

• A minimum of 2 years of functional or techno-functional experience in Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) implementation and/or support projects, specifically with OTM Release 6
• x
• Strong technical and functional expertise in the latest Oracle Transportation Management application modules, including Order Management, OTM Finance, and Shipment Management
• Proficiency in preparing mapping documents for interfacing OTM with EDI, WMS, Order Management, and finance systems, and translating functional specifications into design documents for the technical team
• Experience with the end-to-end lifecycle of OTM implementations
• Familiarity with OTM architecture is a plus

Technical Qualifications:

• Capability to collaborate with clients to identify business challenges and enhance client deliverables through data refinement, analysis, and structuring
• Knowledge of the latest technologies and industry trends
• Strong logical reasoning and problem-solving abilities, along with a collaborative mindset
• Skill in evaluating current processes to identify areas for improvement and recommend technology solutions
• Experience in one or two industry domains
