Oracle EBS Financials Consultant

Core Responsibilities:

• Experience a typical day as an Infoscion
• In your role with the Infosys consulting team, you will play a key part in supporting various stages of projects, including problem identification, effort estimation, diagnosis, solution development, design, and deployment.
• You will investigate alternatives to proposed solutions through research methods such as literature reviews, publicly available information, vendor assessments, and more.
• Your responsibilities will also include building Proofs of Concept (POCs).
• You will generate requirement specifications based on business needs, define future processes, and develop comprehensive functional designs aligned with these requirements.
• Your role will involve assisting in configuring solution requirements on the products, diagnosing any issues, understanding root causes, seeking clarifications, and identifying potential solution alternatives.
• Additionally, you will contribute to both unit-level and organizational initiatives aimed at delivering high-quality, value-added solutions to our clients.

Technical Qualifications:

• We seek candidates with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in implementing or supporting Oracle EBS Financials across two or more modules.
• Expert-level knowledge of Oracle EBS Financial Modules, including Payables, Receivables, General Ledger, Cash Management, Fixed Assets, and AGIS, is essential.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end integrations with other Oracle modules within the finance domain is required.
• The ideal candidate should have experience in creating functional specification documents, developing test cases and scripts, and conducting end-to-end testing for development and patching.
• You should be capable of providing functional insights and guiding the development team in creating custom solutions and performing data migrations.
• Location of the position will be determined based on business needs.
• Strong analytical and communication skills are a must.
• A willingness to work in a management consulting environment that involves frequent travel is necessary.

Additional Duties:

• Develop strategies and models that add value, enabling clients to innovate, stimulate growth, and enhance their business profitability.
• Familiarity with software configuration management systems is beneficial.
• Stay informed about the latest technologies and industry trends.
• Possess logical reasoning and problem-solving abilities, alongside strong collaboration skills.
• A good understanding of financial processes for various project types and available pricing models is important.
• Assess current processes, identify areas for improvement, and recommend technology solutions accordingly.
• Experience in one or two industry domains is advantageous.
• Strong client interfacing capabilities are essential.
• Project and team management experience is required.
