Main Responsibilities:

• Kubernetes OKE Architecture
• Design and set up Oracle Kubernetes Engine (OKE) clusters
• Architect multi-environment Kubernetes platforms including Development, Testing, UAT, and Production
• Design networking for clusters, including ingress, egress, and service discovery
• Establish standards and best practices for Kubernetes governance
• Conduct capacity planning and cluster sizing exercises
• OCI Platform Design
• Create OCI Landing Zones that support Kubernetes workloads
• Implement Virtual Cloud Networks (VCNs), Subnets, Dynamic Routing Gateways (DRGs), FastConnect, Load Balancers, Network Security Groups (NSGs), and Security Lists
• Integrate OKE with OCI Identity and Access Management (IAM), Object Storage, Monitoring, and Logging services
• Design solutions for high availability and disaster recovery
• Containerization Modernization
• Containerize enterprise-level applications
• Design application architectures based on microservices
• Facilitate the migration of VM-based workloads to Kubernetes platforms
• Enhance application deployment and scalability
• DevOps Automation
• Establish CI/CD pipelines utilizing GitHub, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or OCI DevOps
• Create Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform
• Automate processes for cluster provisioning, deployment, patching, and upgrades
• Implement methodologies based on GitOps
• Security Compliance
• Implement Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) for Kubernetes
• Configure network policies and isolate workloads
• Manage the lifecycle of secrets and certificates
• Implement container image scanning and manage vulnerabilities
• Ensure adherence to enterprise security protocols
• Monitoring Operational Excellence
• Establish observability through Prometheus, Grafana, and OCI Monitoring and Logging
• Develop SLAs and operational runbooks
• Troubleshoot performance issues related to clusters and applications
