Primary Duties:

• Oversee the architecture and development of backend services utilizing Node
• js and GraphQL, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and optimal performance
• Set API standards, schema design protocols, and best practices for GraphQL queries, mutations, and resolvers
• Facilitate technical decision-making, conduct design assessments, and guarantee alignment with enterprise architecture and engineering benchmarks
• Cloud Engineering on AWS and Azure
• Design and execute cloud-native solutions that leverage AWS and Azure services, emphasizing reliability, security, and cost-effectiveness
• Establish deployment methodologies and operational protocols for cloud workloads, including monitoring, logging, and readiness for incidents
• Ensure compliance with cloud governance standards, such as identity access management and secure configuration practices
• Collaborative Delivery
• Collaborate with product engineering and cross-functional teams to convert requirements into technical solutions and delivery strategies
• Guide engineers by providing technical mentorship and supporting team efforts through code reviews and engineering coaching
• Effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, providing regular updates on status

Technical Qualifications:

• Essential Qualifications
• 9 years of comprehensive experience in backend engineering with substantial hands-on proficiency in Node
• js
• Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing GraphQL APIs, including schema design and resolver implementations
• Extensive experience delivering solutions using AWS and Azure, covering aspects of architecture, deployment, and operations
• Excellent communication skills, capable of collaborating across teams and promoting technical coherence

• Experience in developing cloud-native backend platforms with a strong emphasis on performance optimization, scalability, and resilience
• Expertise in API lifecycle management, versioning strategies, and governance for GraphQL services

• Proven ability to lead technical projects from inception through design to delivery and operational implementation
• A history of mentoring teams to enhance engineering practices and ensure consistent code quality through reviews and standards
