Network Engineer

Position Summary

We are on the lookout for a Network Engineer to facilitate the execution and delivery of enterprise network and security solutions across diverse customer settings. This position is perfect for individuals with substantial technical knowledge in networking technologies who thrive in deployment projects, system integration, and customer interaction.

Your role will involve collaborating closely with project teams to deploy, configure, troubleshoot, and transfer network infrastructure while ensuring projects are delivered successfully and customer satisfaction is achieved.

Primary Duties

Network Deployment

• Implement, configure, and deploy enterprise network and security solutions within customer environments.
• Install and activate network infrastructure components, including routers, switches, wireless systems, firewalls, load balancers, and other related networking gear.
• Conduct equipment installation, racking, stacking, and on-site implementation tasks.
• Assist in delivering small to medium-sized infrastructure projects from initiation to completion.

Technical Assistance & Issue Resolution

• Identify and rectify network connectivity, configuration, and security issues throughout project execution.
• Carry out system validation, testing, and troubleshooting to guarantee optimal network performance.
• Evaluate technical challenges and propose suitable solutions to mitigate deployment risks.

Project & Client Interaction

• Work in conjunction with Project Managers, Solution Architects, and Operations teams to ensure timely project delivery within defined scope.
• Serve as the technical liaison during project implementation and customer acceptance phases.
• Foster positive relationships with customers by offering technical insights and implementation support.

Documentation & Knowledge Transfer

• Create and update technical documentation, including Low-Level Design (LLD), Technical Design Specifications (TDS), As-Built documentation, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) reports.
• Facilitate knowledge transfer sessions and provide operational handover to clients and internal support teams after project completion.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a similar field.
• 1 to 5 years of experience in network implementation, deployment, or project engineering.
• In-depth understanding of enterprise routing and switching technologies, including BGP, OSPF, MPLS, Spanning Tree, VSS, and Multicast.
• Experience with enterprise wireless technologies such as Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers (WLC), Aruba Wireless, Cisco DNAC, Cisco Prime, MSE/CMX, and Ekahau Site Survey.
• Familiarity with data center networking technologies like Cisco Nexus, VDC, vPC, FEX, VXLAN, and ACI.
• Knowledge of firewall technologies such as Cisco ASA, Firepower, Fortinet FortiGate, IPSec VPN, SSL VPN, and IDS/IPS.
• Experience with Network Access Control (NAC) platforms like Cisco ISE or Aruba ClearPass.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with customers and project teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Current CCNA or CCNP certification.
• CCIE certification would be a valuable asset.
• Experience in delivering enterprise network infrastructure projects.
• Customer-facing implementation or professional services experience.
