Network & Industrial Automation Engineer

Become part of an innovative team as a Network and Factory Automation Engineer, where your efforts will significantly improve the efficiency and security of our factory's technological landscape. This hybrid position is dedicated to optimizing the integration and functionality of factory systems.

Responsibilities

• Set up, install, document, and maintain the factory network to ensure a robust infrastructure within manufacturing zones. Integrate PLCs, barcode scanners, sensors, industrial PCs, and material handling equipment, while conducting configuration and testing for new machinery and upgrades. Create and uphold connections between machinery and the Manufacturing Execution System for efficient data gathering. Oversee network infrastructure, respond to incidents, perform troubleshooting, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime. Evaluate performance metrics from networks, systems, and machinery to pinpoint bottlenecks and spearhead continuous improvement efforts.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Telecommunications, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a similar discipline. At least 3 years of practical experience in manufacturing IT/OT, industrial automation, network engineering, or a related field. Strong expertise in both networking and automation is highly desirable. Demonstrated troubleshooting abilities across network, operating system, application, control, and data-interface layers, coupled with a methodical approach to root-cause analysis and documentation. Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to perform well under pressure and collaborate effectively with diverse teams. Proficient in programming languages such as VB.NET, Python, JavaScript, Shell Scripting, and Oracle SQL for application development, automation, and data management.
