Machine Learning Engineer - Computer Vision

Position Summary
Enhance and advance computer vision models encompassing classification, object detection, segmentation, pose estimation, and action recognition. This position primarily emphasizes refining existing models while also providing opportunities to create new models and streamline training workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Train, fine-tune, and assess models to enhance accuracy, robustness, and efficiency.
• Evaluate different model architectures and articulate their advantages, limitations, and trade-offs.
• Examine model performance, explore failure scenarios, and implement enhancements.
• Create MLOps workflows and develop or modify Python scripts for automating model training processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of two years of practical experience in computer vision, including academic projects, internships, or professional roles.
• In-depth knowledge of object detection, segmentation, pose estimation, and action recognition.
• Proficiency in Python and frameworks such as PyTorch and/or TensorFlow.
• Capability to articulate model selection, training choices, and evaluation outcomes.
• Familiarity with Linux, Git, and reproducible research methodologies.

Desirable

• Experience in modifying model architectures, heads, loss functions, or training pipelines.
• Knowledge of MLOps, experiment tracking, and model optimization techniques.
