Project Management Officer - Healthcare Industry

We are excited to announce an opening for a Project Analyst position on a 12-month renewable contract (extensions will depend on project needs and individual performance). In this role, you will serve as a PMO (Project Management Office) Analyst, assisting in the planning and management of the implementation of IT systems for a new healthcare facility (AH-IGH).

Key Responsibilities

• Gather & Review Needs: Collect and assess IT requirements while evaluating submissions from technology teams.
• Funding & Approvals: Create presentations and documentation to secure funding and obtain official endorsements.
• Track Progress: Ensure that the project adheres to timelines, scope, and budgetary constraints.
• Manage Risks: Identify potential issues proactively and provide regular updates to management.
• Coordinate Teams: Facilitate communication among business users, technology teams, and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• Overall IT Experience: 5 to 6 years of experience in IT systems.
• Healthcare IT: 1 to 5 years of experience specifically within a healthcare environment.
• Certification: PMP (or a similar project management certification) is preferred.
