Market data lead

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the main point of contact for all data migration and master data management (MDM) initiatives within the market.
• Take ownership of the specific data scope for the market, ensuring local data owners are held accountable.
• Facilitate collaboration among business, IT, and vendor teams to carry out comprehensive data migration processes, including data cleansing, enrichment, transformation, and documentation.
• Drive local data quality initiatives, address data issues, and ensure master data aligns with the global data model.
• Guarantee that MDM roles are assigned and appropriately trained prior to go-live.
• Assist in testing, mock loads, cutover rehearsals, hypercare activities, and reporting to stakeholders.
• Recognize and mitigate data-related risks while promoting continuous improvement.
  
  

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of local master data structures, ownership, governance, and associated business processes.
• Demonstrated experience in data migration, data cleansing, and SAP S/4HANA transformation projects, ideally within the consumer packaged goods (CPG) sector.
• Understanding of data profiling, data quality management, ETL tools (such as SAP Data Services), and metadata management.
• Hands-on experience with Python and data-related tools is a plus.
• Awareness of data privacy, regulatory compliance, and local data governance standards.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Agile, proactive, and results-oriented mindset with the capability to handle multiple priorities.
• Proficient in English and open to travel for deployment support activities.
