Job Summary:
Emerson presents an exciting opportunity for Manufacturing Technician professionals seeking to advance their careers. In this position, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the stability and activity of production equipment, executing repairs and maintenance, managing spare parts, and driving equipment enhancements. You will collaborate closely with the engineering and production teams to uphold product quality, ensure equipment reliability, and promote operational excellence within a cooperative and innovative manufacturing setting.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Responding to production redlights due to equipment or tool failures, ensuring a swift recovery of manufacturing operations.
- Conducting maintenance activities for equipment/facilities, which encompass Preventive Maintenance (PM), Corrective Maintenance (CM), and Autonomous Maintenance (AM) to sustain continuous production and enhance equipment uptime.
- Carrying out in-house testing and calibrations of equipment in alignment with established procedures and quality standards.
- Working in partnership with vendors and contractors to implement contract services and projects that support operational and business goals.
- Overseeing spare parts management, inclusive of inventory control, stock replenishment, and monitoring of critical spare parts to reduce equipment downtime.
- Leading continuous equipment improvement initiatives aimed at minimizing downtime, boosting performance, and enhancing manufacturing efficiency.
- Assisting in the execution of production rework activities to maintain product quality and compliance with specifications.

For This Role, You Will Need:
- Expertise in troubleshooting equipment, diagnosing faults, and providing maintenance support to resolve mechanical and electrical issues.
- Experience in executing preventive maintenance tasks, including inspections, servicing, calibration, and replacement of worn components according to maintenance schedules.
- Proficient understanding of PLCs and automation systems to effectively support equipment operation, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- A diploma in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant manufacturing experience.
- Familiarity with welding automation systems and processes is beneficial and considered an advantage.
