Lead System Engineer (IT Network Communications)

Position Overview

We are on the lookout for a Lead System Engineer with a focus on IT Network Communications to become a key member of our team in Southeast Asia. The successful applicant will possess significant expertise in the design, implementation, and management of network communication systems, with an emphasis on guiding a team to achieve peak network performance and dependability.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute network architectures for communication systems.
• Monitor and troubleshoot network systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Lead a team of engineers in maintaining and upgrading network infrastructure.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and implement network solutions.
• Create and sustain network documentation and procedures.
• Perform regular assessments and audits of network systems to ensure security and efficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• 6-10 years of experience in network engineering or system engineering capacities.
• In-depth understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, etc.) and technologies (LAN, WAN, VPN, etc.).
• Experience with network security practices and tools.
• Proficient in using network monitoring and performance analysis tools.
• Familiarity with cloud-based networking solutions and services.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and capacity to perform under pressure.
• Excellent communication and leadership capabilities.
