• Assist the Department Head in:
• Overseeing a team to ensure seamless operational flow that aligns with the organization's goals and key performance indicators.
• Maintaining a robust internal control framework.
• Ensuring timely and precise reporting on sub-ledger activities, including bank reconciliations and account analyses.
• Regularly assessing policies and procedures, refining processes to enhance productivity and ensure compliance with internal controls.
• Acting as an effective Change Manager, for example,
• Leading transformations in Finance Operations to adapt to evolving business needs.
• Staying informed about technological advancements in the accounts payable/accounts receivable systems sector and assessing their relevance for the organization.
• Applying best practices to accounts receivable and accounts payable processes.
• Addressing abnormalities identified through Data Analytics and providing reports on the findings from those investigations.
• Collaborating with internal and external auditors, banking institutions, other departments, and external vendors regarding payment-related issues.

Project Management

• Facilitating process simplification and leading the rollout of standardized and scalable procedures.
