Senior Systems Engineer (Finance)

Primary Duties:

• Prepare financial systems to facilitate the month-end close, consolidation, and reporting processes.
• Oversee and assist in the deployment, configuration, and integration of the OneStream platform with current business systems.
• Offer continuous training, guidance, and support to finance teams to enhance the effectiveness and usage of OneStream.
• Design, sustain, and improve system solutions, financial models, and reports to enable data-driven decision-making.
• Regularly assess, refine, and automate system processes while keeping abreast of industry best practices and promoting ongoing enhancements.

The following skills are particularly important:

• Capability to convert finance and business needs into system specifications, collaborate effectively with various teams, and ensure technology meets business requirements.
• Proven expertise in process enhancement, change management, and delivering technical solutions—utilizing data analysis, system administration, and meticulous attention to detail.
• Fundamental knowledge of financial accounting and reporting is advantageous, along with an understanding of the significance of master data in complex organizations and a desire to expand finance knowledge.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• Previous experience with financial systems such as OneStream, Hyperion, or EPM Cloud is favorable.
• Strong enthusiasm for financial systems and leveraging technology to enhance performance and outcomes.
• Prior exposure to C#, VB.Net, or SQL is beneficial.
• Familiarity with system administration and setup is advantageous.
• Experience with OneStream, S4 HANA, or any financial system is desirable.
• Exposure to API and automation is a plus.
• Basic understanding of financial processes and principles.
