Position - IT Project Manager – WMS Implementation

Objective of the Role

The primary responsibility of this position is to oversee the IT aspects of WMS (Warehouse Management System) implementations for new clients or the migration of existing WMS systems, while working in close partnership with the Business Project Manager.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Follow designated project implementation methodologies and governance standards, utilizing approved tools and documentation formats throughout all projects.
• Play a key role in defining the project scope in collaboration with the Business Project Manager, the customer, Operations, and Business at the start of the project.
• Lead and manage IT-related project activities, ensuring that project goals are met on schedule and within budget, aligned with business objectives.
• Prepare project updates such as status reports and take part in project steering committee meetings5.
• Proactively identify and manage project risks and issues, implementing timely mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with relevant resources to plan cutover, Go-live, and hyper-care activities.
• Define and acquire necessary resources to fulfill the established project scope.
• Gain a comprehensive understanding of task interdependencies and actively follow up on deliverables to guarantee the timely completion of project tasks.
