Position: IMPORT - Pricing Manager

Salary: ₹7 LPA – ₹12 LPA

Job Title and Description

Key Responsibilities

In-depth knowledge and insight into current freight market dynamics, rate movements, capacity conditions, carrier strategies, and competitive pricing across key trade routes.
Possess strong practical experience in Ocean and Air Import freight pricing, encompassing freight rates, surcharges, local charges, routing, transit times, and relevant commercial terms.
Demonstrated expertise as an effective negotiator, with a history of securing competitive and profitable rates with:

Ability to foster and maintain robust professional relationships with shipping companies, airlines, consolidators, overseas agents, and local vendors.
Strong capability to source competitive rates while ensuring the organization's profitability and service standards are met.
Well-connected within the freight forwarding sector with a comprehensive understanding of current market rates.
Proficient in delivering swift, accurate, and commercially viable pricing solutions to the Sales and Business Development teams.
Strong analytical capabilities to compare rates, assess routing options, analyze margins, and identify the most commercially advantageous solutions.
Exceptional communication, interpersonal, coordination, and negotiation skills.

Ideal Candidate Profile

5-10 years of experience in export pricing management or a comparable field (e.g., import/export).
Thorough understanding of Import regulations, tariffs, taxes, and trade agreements.
Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel) for data analysis and reporting.
Experience with freight forwarders or third-party logistics providers is advantageous.
