Our client is a respected multinational organisation with a significant footprint across Asia Pacific. In line with ongoing expansion and a commitment to commercial excellence, they are hiring an FP&A Assistant Manager to join their regional finance team in Singapore.

In this position, you will collaborate closely with senior leadership and business stakeholders across multiple markets, delivering essential financial insights that enable strategic planning and improve business performance.

Job Description

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for delivering forward-looking financial analysis and business insights that support commercial and operational decision-making across the region. Key responsibilities include:

• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning activities for assigned business units and markets.
• Create monthly management reports, performance dashboards, and financial presentations for senior management.
• Perform in-depth variance analysis and pinpoint key business drivers, risks, and opportunities.
• Review and analyse sales, gross margin, operating expenses, profitability, and working capital performance.
• Work in partnership with commercial, operations, supply chain, and finance teams to support business initiatives and strengthen performance.
• Assess pricing, customer profitability, product margins, and investment opportunities.
• Build and improve Power BI dashboards, management reporting tools, and data visualisation capabilities.
• Lead process enhancement, reporting automation, and finance transformation initiatives.
• Assist with regional reporting requirements and ensure accurate financial information is submitted on time.
• Recommend practical actions to improve operational efficiency and increase business profitability.

The Successful Applicant

To succeed, you will be a commercially focused finance professional who enjoys working with data, partnering with stakeholders, and shaping business decisions. You should have:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in FP&A, commercial finance, management reporting, or business finance.
• Solid experience in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial modelling.
• Demonstrated capability to convert financial information into valuable business insights.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong Power BI experience
• Experience in a regional or multinational environment is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proactive, analytical mindset, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
