Position Overview

We are in search of a seasoned Azure Cloud Engineer with over 5 years of experience focusing on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS). This role involves designing, deploying, and overseeing robust, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructures. As a key player in our team, you will spearhead containerization efforts, automate infrastructure provisioning through Infrastructure as Code (IaC), manage CI/CD pipelines, and enhance microservices architectures deployed on AKS.

Key Responsibilities

• AKS Infrastructure & Administration: Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise-level Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters, including node pools, autoscaling (HPA/KEDA), ingress controllers (NGINX, Application Gateway), and service meshes (Istio/Linkerd).
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Streamline Azure cloud resource provisioning from start to finish using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
• CI/CD & DevOps Automation: Create and refine continuous delivery pipelines utilizing Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions for containerized applications.
• Networking & Security: Set up Azure Virtual Networks (VNets), Network Security Groups (NSGs), Azure Firewalls, RBAC, Key Vaults, and private endpoints to ensure secure communications for AKS clusters.
• Monitoring & Observability: Deploy comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using Azure Monitor, Container Insights, Log Analytics, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Cost & Performance Optimization: Engage in proactive performance tuning, disaster recovery planning, and cost management across compute and container workloads.

Qualifications & Skill Set

• Experience: A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Cloud Engineering, System Administration, or DevOps, with at least 3 years specifically in Microsoft Azure and Kubernetes/AKS.
• Containerization & Orchestration: Expert knowledge in Kubernetes, AKS, Docker, Helm charts, and container networking/storage solutions.
• IaC & Scripting: High-level proficiency in Terraform/Bicep alongside scripting languages (Bash, PowerShell, Python).
• Azure Core Services: In-depth understanding of Azure Active Directory (Entra ID), Azure Storage, Azure SQL/CosmosDB, and Azure Networking.
• Certifications (Preferred): Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104), Azure DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400), or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA).
