Finance Manager

Overview:

We are in search of a meticulous Finance Manager to take charge of our financial operations, spearhead strategic initiatives, and ensure adherence to regulatory standards. This position requires collaboration with senior management to boost profitability and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and support all accounting functions, encompassing Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger.
• Drive product costing projects, which include establishing standard costs and performing cost roll-ups.
• Examine primary cost factors such as materials, labor, and overhead absorption to pinpoint opportunities for cost reduction.
• Create financial models to support strategic planning and informed decision-making.
• Compile and deliver regular financial reports to senior management and relevant stakeholders.
• Supervise the bi-annual budgeting process, working closely with department heads to align goals.
• Ensure adherence to accounting standards and regulatory guidelines, facilitating audits and tax submissions.
• Manage cash flow and develop strategies to enhance banking relationships and maximize returns on surplus funds.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• A minimum of 5 to 7 years of applicable experience, preferably in the manufacturing industry, showcasing proven management skills.
• In-depth understanding of accounting standards and financial regulations.
• Expertise in SQL and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Outstanding analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Strong leadership skills and team management experience.
• High degree of confidentiality, a proactive mindset, and exceptional attention to detail.
• Immediate availability or short notice preferred.
