Engineering Technician

We are seeking an Engineering Technician to assist our engineering and production teams in the setup, maintenance, and operation of semiconductor testing and backend equipment. This position will also encompass support for test program verification, characterization, and sample screening tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineering teams to set up test equipment for both engineering and production operations.
• Help maintain Test and Backend Equipment, which includes Bench Testers, ATE Testers, Handlers, Thermostream, ICOS, and Laser Mark equipment.
• Conduct test program correlation and reject verification tasks.
• Prepare test hardware for remote testing by loading test programs and conducting sanity checks.
• Execute characterization and sample screening in alignment with internal engineering specifications.
• Provide support for equipment and testing activities in a semiconductor production and engineering setting.
• Perform additional related technical duties as necessary.

Job Requirements

• Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, Mechatronics, IT, Biochemical, Mechanical, Computer, or Architecture Engineering; or
• Higher Nitec/Nitec in Electronics, Electrical, Mechatronics, IT, Biochemical, Mechanical, Computer, or Architecture-related fields.
• Preferred experience in HTOL support.
• Experience with ATE testers is preferred; familiarity with Advantest 93K is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with handlers, probers, Thermostream testing equipment, or bench test equipment.
• Experience in a semiconductor production or engineering testing facility.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong attention to detail alongside the capability to perform hands-on technical tasks.
• Flexibility to work staggered, night, or varying shifts as required by business needs.
