DevOps Lead (Azure, Terraform)

We are hiring a hands-on DevOps / Cloud Platform Lead to spearhead cloud infrastructure engineering, automation, and delivery excellence. The ideal candidate is a strong technical leader who can enhance team performance, accelerate delivery, and set architectural direction—while staying actively engaged in hands-on engineering work.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a DevOps / Cloud Engineering team by defining clear priorities, driving execution, improving team performance, and speeding up delivery.
• Design, build, and continuously optimize Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) to support scalability, security, and operational efficiency.
• Create and improve CI/CD pipelines to streamline infrastructure provisioning, deployment automation, and release processes.
• Deliver Azure solution architecture guidance by advising engineering teams on cloud service selection, infrastructure design, networking, security, and application deployment.
• Define and implement cloud engineering standards and best practices across Azure core services, identity and access management, networking, security, and monitoring.
• Advance DevSecOps practices by embedding security controls, vulnerability scanning, and compliance requirements into infrastructure and deployment pipelines.
• Partner with engineering and business stakeholders to align technical priorities, eliminate delivery bottlenecks, and improve overall engineering productivity.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering, or related roles, with substantial hands-on experience in Microsoft Azure.
• Demonstrated team leadership and delivery management experience, including proven results in increasing execution speed, engineering productivity, and team performance.
• Experience working in financial services or other comparable regulated environments.
• Strong command of Terraform, IaC, and CI/CD automation, including reusable infrastructure modules and support for multi-environment management.
• In-depth understanding of Azure networking, core cloud services, identity and access management, and infrastructure security.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps, automated security scanning, infrastructure monitoring, and production reliability.
• Proactive, hands-on leadership approach with strong problem-solving, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills.
