Pharmacy Technician

Brief Summary:

• Lead pharmacy technician operations by coordinating staffing coverage, assisting with inventory control, and ensuring precise medication distribution processes. Supervise and grow pharmacy support staff, while also contributing to procurement activities, patient services, and operational projects.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coach, and train pharmacy technicians and assistants on established work processes. Assist pharmacists with medication ordering, processing, replenishment, and inventory management. Coordinate roster planning to ensure sufficient staffing coverage across assigned pharmacy operations. Dispense medications and provide patient counselling in line with Good Dispensing Guidelines. Maintain accurate and stringent medication distribution and inventory control systems. Provide professional service to patients and staff. Support pharmacists with clerical duties, administrative functions, and other related operational projects.

Requirements

• Minimum GCE 'N' Level with a Certificate in Pharmacy Technician from the Pharmaceutical Society of Singapore, or a Diploma in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Science. Minimum of one year of experience in an acute hospital setting. Strong organisational, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities. Resourceful, dependable, and able to work independently. Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and night shifts.
