• Working Day 6 ( Sunday will be off )

Description

We are seeking an experienced Desktop Support Lead to oversee our technical support team in India. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring high-quality support services for our desktop users, managing a team of support technicians, and driving continuous improvement in support processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the desktop support team to ensure timely resolution of technical issues.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting and support for desktop hardware and software issues.
• Coordinate with other IT teams to resolve complex technical problems.
• Develop and maintain documentation for support processes and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies and standards in support operations.
• Train and mentor junior support staff to enhance their skills and efficiency.
• Monitor and report on team performance metrics and service level agreements (SLAs).
• Assist in the deployment of new desktop technologies and upgrades.

Skills and Qualifications

• 4-10 years of experience in desktop support and 2+ Yrs in team Leading
• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and troubleshooting techniques.
• Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, and network configurations.
• Familiarity with various hardware components and peripherals.
• Proficient in software installation and configuration, including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration.
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
• IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST), or equivalent are preferred.
