Python automation test lead

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks utilizing Python
• Produce automated test scripts for Web API and backend systems
• Design and implement functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end test cases
• Conduct API automation leveraging tools such as PyTest, Requests, Postman, or REST Assured Python alternatives
• Execute UI automation with Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, or Robot Framework
• Incorporate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD
• Evaluate test outcomes, document defects, and engage with developers for resolution
• Contribute to requirement analysis, test planning, estimations, and sprint initiatives
• Create automation reports and dashboards for stakeholders
• Uphold QA best practices and coding standards

• Practical experience with PyTest, Unittest, or Robot Framework
• Familiarity with Selenium WebDriver and/or Playwright for automation
• Experience in API testing utilizing the Requests Library, Postman, or REST APIs
• Strong grasp of software testing principles and the SDLC/STLC process
• Experience with defect tracking tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps, or Bugzilla
• Proficiency in version control systems such as Git
• CI/CD and DevOps
• Experience in integrating automation scripts within CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or GitLab
• Familiarity with Docker and executing tests in a containerized environment
