Energy and Utilities Management Consultant

Primary Responsibilities:

• Seeking a candidate who can:
• Gather, identify, and document business requirements while creating functional specifications for new systems and processes.
• Assess current processes, conduct gap analyses, develop future state processes, and recommend implementation changes.
• Utilize Six Sigma, Lean, and other methodologies to foster continuous process improvement in technology projects.
• Oversee technology project management, including the management of technology vendors and client stakeholders.
• Handle large projects and programs in a multi-vendor environment with globally distributed teams, delivering results through Agile principles and DevOps capabilities.
• Establish and operate an IT Project Management Office (PMO).
• Lead and manage business development efforts with major Oil, Gas, and Utilities prospects, effectively conveying Infosys’ unique value proposition through practical use cases across the value chain.
• Design and implement innovative client-specific solutions, including business case development, IT strategy formulation, and software considerations related to digital solutions.
• Collaborate closely with client IT teams and business personnel to identify opportunities and generate actionable insights.
• Engage in additional internal initiatives such as knowledge management and recruitment.
• Support sales initiatives for both new and existing clients by creating proposals, preparing for sales presentations, and actively participating in client meetings and discussions.
• Represent Infosys Consulting at industry conferences and present papers.
• Provide technology and consulting leadership both within and outside the firm regarding trends in one or more of the latest digital technologies, including Robotic Process Automation, Business Intelligence, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Big Data technologies, Data Analytics, IoT, etc.

Technical Qualifications:

• Essential Qualifications
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in Business Analysis, designing, defining, or managing projects related to digital technologies in the Oil, Gas, and Utilities sector.
• A comprehensive understanding of one or more of the latest digital technologies: Robotic Process Automation, Digital Transformation, Business Intelligence, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Big Data technologies, Data Analytics, IoT, etc.
• A Bachelor's degree or a full-time MBA/PGDM from Tier 1 or Tier 2 business schools in India or equivalent foreign institutions is mandatory.
• No travel is anticipated in the near term due to COVID-19.
• Willingness and ability to travel as needed in the long term, both within India and internationally.

• Familiarity with one or more digital technologies, including Robotic Process Automation, Digital Transformation, Business Intelligence, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Big Data technologies, Data Analytics, IoT, etc.
• Strong knowledge of Agile development methodologies, including Scrum practices and tools.
• Adept at thoroughly understanding complex business and technical challenges and influencing decision-making at all organizational levels without formal authority.
• Exceptional teamwork and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to articulate ideas in both technical and user-friendly terms.
• Capacity to function as part of a cross-cultural team, with the flexibility to support multiple time zones as necessary.
• Ability to engage with all levels of client organizations effectively.
• Understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and cultivate strong client relationships.
