SAP BASIS Solution Architect

Job Overview:

• As a Solution Architect, you will spearhead engagement initiatives across various phases, from defining problems to diagnosing issues, and designing and deploying solutions within expansive S/4 HANA transformation projects.
• Develop comprehensive design and architectural documentation along with process artifacts, implementing solutions and deployment strategies.
• Engage with senior stakeholders in client business and IT sectors, showcasing your expertise in domain processes and technological advancements.
• Participate in unit and organizational initiatives and Centers of Excellence (COEs) while addressing potential issues in environments such as Sandbox, Development, QA, and Production.

Core Responsibilities:

• A minimum of 14 years of experience in SAP BASIS.
• Extensive hands-on experience with S/4 HANA and utilizing HANA as a database for SAP applications.
• Practical experience with SAP applications on hyper-scalers like AWS, Azure, or GCP, including reference architectures and native cloud services for computing and storage options, as well as performance monitoring in the cloud.
• Robust experience in SAP migrations, including OS/DB migrations and HANA migrations/conversions using DOC and DoDMO.
• Capability to refine migration and conversion configurations to reduce technical downtime effectively.
• Understanding of technical integration scenarios involving both cloud and on-premise systems, as well as cloud and SaaS applications.
• Experience in designing and implementing landscape architecture and sizing for S/4 HANA projects.
• Hands-on experience with SAP BASIS tasks, including support package and version upgrades, client strategy, problem management, and capacity planning, including EWA analysis.

Technical Qualifications:

• Expertise in SAP BASIS across various industries such as Pharma, Professional Services, Utilities, Telecom, Oil and Gas, and the Public Sector.
• The selected candidate will act as a subject matter expert in Functional Solution Architecture for large-scale SAP transformation initiatives.
• Strong domain knowledge in Finance, along with hands-on expertise in the S/4 HANA SAP BASIS module is essential.
• Experience with the S/4 HANA Public Cloud module is considered an advantageous asset.
• A proactive mindset towards problem-solving.
• Solid understanding of GXP and SOX compliance requirements.
• Experience in a Global delivery model is a plus.
