The Data Engineer plays a crucial role in overseeing the technical reconciliation of data transitioned from the legacy Mainframe system to the designated Oracle database. This position is essential for guaranteeing the completeness, accuracy, integrity, and consistency of data throughout the entire migration process.
Design and implement intricate SQL/PLSQL queries and reconciliation scripts to facilitate automated data validation.
Conduct database-level validations within the Oracle environment.
Examine migration logs and error reports to identify underlying issues.
Assist in the technical resolution of migration and data integrity challenges.
Ensure that any data discrepancies are meticulously documented and resolved.
Oracle Database / PL/SQL
Advanced SQL proficiency
Expertise in data reconciliation and validation
Experience with ETL and data transformation

Proficiency in shell scripting and Linux
