Position Summary

The Data Centre Operations & Integrated Command Centre (ICC) Administrator is tasked with guaranteeing the operational availability, reliability, and compliance of Data Centre (DC) and ICC services. This role is integral in providing continuous 24×7 monitoring, coordinating facilities, managing vendor relationships, ensuring audit preparedness, and maintaining SLA compliance across various Data Centre sites.

Primary Duties

• Manage daily operations of DC and ICC to ensure optimal availability and uninterrupted service.
• Monitor alerts from ICC and guarantee prompt escalation to the relevant resolver teams.
• Ensure the continuous operation of monitoring platforms (BMC / TrueSight, ICC tools, JMS backend).
• Coordinate with vendors for operational delivery, including the procurement, replacement, and validation of parts.
• Oversee DC facility operations, including inspections, reporting, power checks, cabling, and monthly testing in collaboration with Chargemen.
• Ensure Data Centre availability and adherence to contractual SLAs, verified through monthly ARC reports.
• Manage JMS reporting and guarantee timely submission of operational and financial reports to the Finance department, including coordination with PBB, Postpaid, eBay, and MBB teams.
• Maintain the accuracy of the CMDB, including updates for server decommissioning and validation through approved trackers.
• Facilitate server decommissioning by confirming non-usage with clients and system owners prior to execution.
• Keep updated layouts of all Data Centres and submit them for SLA and governance approval.
• Support operational and audit requirements, providing reports to customers and stakeholders as necessary.
• Manage DC/ICC Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), conduct regular site inspections, and ensure adherence to operational protocols.
• Supervise DC and ICC personnel, offer backup support, and train new team members on monitoring and operational procedures.

Required Skills & Competencies

• In-depth knowledge of Data Centre operations and ICC monitoring environments.
• Practical experience with enterprise monitoring tools (BMC / TrueSight, ICC platforms, JMS).
• Exceptional coordination abilities across vendors, facilities teams, and technology sectors.
• Strong attention to detail with a robust documentation and audit focus.
• Capability to operate effectively in environments driven by SLAs and high availability.

Experience & Educational Background

• 4–7 years of experience in roles related to Data Centre Operations, ICC, or Infrastructure Operations.
• Preferred experience in large enterprise or telecommunications Data Centre settings.
• Familiarity with SLA management, CMDB, audits, and facilities coordination.
