Mobile Application Developer

We are seeking a skilled Mobile App Developer to join our ITMAX – PERKESO project team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in the design, development, integration, testing, and maintenance of mobile applications for the project.

The developer will collaborate closely with project managers, UI/UX designers, backend developers, QA engineers, and business stakeholders to create secure, scalable, and user-centric mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement high-quality mobile applications for Android and/or iOS platforms.
• Develop new features for mobile applications based on functional and technical specifications.
• Integrate mobile applications with REST APIs, backend services, and third-party systems.
• Work in tandem with UI/UX teams to create responsive and intuitive interfaces.
• Conduct application testing, debugging, and troubleshooting.
• Detect and resolve performance, usability, and technical challenges.
• Ensure compliance with mobile security, data protection, and development best practices.
• Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Collaborate with backend developers to ensure seamless API and system integration.
• Engage in code reviews, maintaining clean, scalable, and reusable code.
• Create technical documentation and assist with deployment activities.
• Provide application maintenance and production support as needed.
• Adhere to project timelines and ensure that deliverables meet established quality standards.

Preferred Experience

• 3–6+ years of experience in mobile application development.
• Experience in delivering mobile applications for enterprise or government sectors is advantageous.
• Experience with applications that involve large user bases, sensitive data, or transactional processes is preferred.
• Familiarity with Malaysian organizations or local government-related projects will be an added plus.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.

Education

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Familiarity with Git-based version control systems.
• Understanding of CI/CD processes and mobile application deployment is advantageous.
• Experience integrating third-party SDKs and services.
• Awareness of application performance optimization techniques.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
