Cyber Security Lead

In this pivotal leadership role, you will guide a team of cybersecurity experts to safeguard against cyber threats. Your primary focus will be on proactive threat detection, effective incident response, and ensuring rapid recovery for the business. This position reports directly to the Head of the Cyber Security Centre and is crucial for our organizational security strategy.

Responsibilities

You will strengthen our cybersecurity posture by identifying potential risks, collaborating with crisis management teams, and facilitating tabletop exercises. Additionally, you will review and revise the incident response plan to ensure it reflects any changes within the organization.

Additional responsibilities include:

• Overseeing detection, triage, and recovery processes.
• Coordinating efforts with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Providing communication throughout the entire incident lifecycle.
• Enhancing security monitoring and response protocols.
• Assisting with fraud investigations, outages, and e-discovery as necessary.

Requirements

A degree in Information Technology, Information Security, Computer Science, or a similar field is preferred.

• CISSP certification is mandatory.
• GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH) is an advantage.
• Practical experience in Digital Forensics and Incident Response (DFIR).
• A strong urgency and meticulous attention to detail are essential.
