Lead Network Engineer – Data Centre & Automation

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Lead Network Engineer with a focus on Data Centre & Automation to become part of our dynamic team in Southeast Asia. The successful candidate will possess a robust background in network engineering, emphasizing the design, implementation, and management of high-performance network infrastructures within data centre settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and deploy network infrastructure to support data centre operations.
• Oversee and enhance network performance and security within a data centre environment.
• Drive automation efforts to improve network management and monitoring capabilities.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth integration of network services.
• Diagnose and resolve intricate network issues promptly.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for network configurations and modifications.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• 6-10 years of network engineering experience, particularly in data centre settings.
• In-depth understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, etc.) along with routing and switching technologies.
• Experience utilizing network automation tools (Ansible, Python scripting, etc.).
• Skilled in configuring and managing network equipment from leading vendors (Cisco, Juniper, etc.).
• Knowledgeable in data centre technologies including virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V) and storage area networks (SAN).
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
