Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement reliable, scalable technology solutions aligned with business needs, utilizing modern software development best practices.
• Partner with regional and global teams to conceptualize and develop new functionalities across relevant programming languages and shared platforms, ensuring consistency with our architectural blueprint.
• Communicate complex technical information effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders, including senior leadership, to facilitate informed decision-making.
• Engage in collaboration, coaching, and mentorship of a dedicated team of highly motivated technologists to foster technical growth and excellence.

Candidate Qualifications and Requirements:

• Professional experience in developing solutions using Scala and Java, with a solid understanding of both Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and Functional Programming paradigms.
• In-depth knowledge of event sourcing and Command Query Responsibility Segregation (CQRS) principles, with practical development experience.
• Proficiency in applying design patterns and adhering to industry best practices in software engineering.
• Strong foundation in fundamental algorithms and the capability to optimize existing codebases for performance and efficiency.
• Experience creating Specification by Example, Feature Files, Acceptance Test-Driven Development (ATDD), and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD).
• Hands-on experience with SDLC automation tools such as Jenkins, Gradle, GitHub, Artifactory, and Ansible.
• Commitment to writing clean, maintainable, and well-structured code.
• Strict adherence to Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices and continuous integration processes.
• Familiarity with Scrum and Agile development methodologies.
• Excellent team collaboration skills, with strong interpersonal and communication abilities to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to support platform development and articulate technical concepts clearly.
• Experience with ReactJS, Elasticsearch, and AngularJS is advantageous.
• Knowledge of AMPS messaging infrastructure and SQL/database programming is a plus.
• Understanding of capital markets operations, especially securities trade processing, clearing, and settlement, is beneficial.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently and adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
