Job Description

Exciting Career Opportunity:

Join a distinguished semiconductor OEM organization within their Research and Development team, where you will play a pivotal role in enhancing current semiconductor plasma processing equipment products and innovating new offerings. Your focus will be on C&F (concept & feasibility) activities, encompassing new process concept proposals, validation, recipe development, and performance testing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the development and refinement of plasma process technologies to meet essential performance targets across etch and deposition applications.
  • Establish process envelopes, qualification criteria, and operational conditions for next-generation semiconductor equipment platforms.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and internal teams to boost the performance and reliability of process-sensitive hardware components.
  • Explore new chemical formulation strategies and process architectures to fulfill future technology roadmap needs.
  • Perform data-driven experiments and root cause analyses to tackle process variability, defect creation, and equipment performance challenges.
  • Evaluate emerging materials and precursors for incorporation into advanced manufacturing processes and applications.
  • Utilize process characterization techniques and diagnostic methods to analyze plasma behavior and enhance process control.
  • Contribute to manufacturing cost-saving initiatives and productivity improvements through ongoing process optimization efforts.
  • Engage across various functions with engineering, software, and product teams to implement development programs and deliver solutions that meet customer needs.

Candidate Profile:

  • Master's or PhD in Chemical Engineering, Material Science, or a closely related discipline, with a minimum of 5 years of pertinent industry or academic experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts effectively.
  • Proven experience in employing structured problem-solving tools and methodologies (e.g., Root Cause Analysis, Six Sigma, Fishbone Diagram, 5 Whys).
  • Familiarity with semiconductor processing and characterization tools (e.g., SEM, film thickness/stress measurement, plasma diagnostic tools, OES) is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of material properties, thin film characterization, and plasma chemistry dynamics.
  • Practical skills in wafer handling, chamber maintenance, manual tool operation, and basic mechanical/gas-line assembly will be a plus.

Application Process:

  • Interested candidates are encouraged to submit their resume to [HIDDEN TEXT], including your current and expected salary.
  • All shortlisted candidates will be contacted for further discussion.
