• Our esteemed client is in search of a Robotics Deployment Engineer
• Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 6:00pm
• Nearest MRT Station: Changi
• Contract duration: 3 years - with potential for renewal or conversion

Candidate Profile

• Possession of a degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in robotics deployment, automation, or similar areas.
• Proficient in ROS1/ROS2, Nav2, and SLAM-based mapping techniques.
• Practical experience in robot testing, commissioning, and operational support in real-world environments.
• Exceptional skills in stakeholder management and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Strong abilities in communication, problem-solving, and time management.

Job Responsibilities

• Assess site readiness, ensuring that the physical environment, electrical systems, connectivity, and spatial requirements are adequate for robot deployment.
• Create, review, and maintain site maps to facilitate effective robot navigation.
• Conduct functional and safety assessments, including emergency stop mechanisms, tool-changing procedures, safety zone responses, and system interlocks during the commissioning phase.
• Oversee and support the status of robots, including mission resumption and safety abort operations as necessary.
• Generate commissioning reports and facilitate the handover of cleared units to operational teams.
