Our client, a prominent design-and-build firm, boasts an impressive portfolio encompassing industrial, commercial, and large-scale construction projects. They are seeking skilled Structural Engineers to become integral members of their project team, collaborating with consultants, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams throughout the entire project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage structural design and engineering tasks for construction projects.
- Evaluate structural drawings, calculations, specifications, and technical submissions.
- Collaborate with Structural Consultants, Architects, M&E Consultants, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Assess structural proposals, shop drawings, method statements, and material submissions.
- Deliver technical support for reinforced concrete (RC), steel structures, foundations, slabs, beams, and columns.
- Perform site inspections and address structural design and construction challenges.
- Integrate structural works with architectural, civil, and M&E disciplines.
- Communicate with consultants and regulatory bodies regarding design submissions and technical issues.
- Review RFIs, design modifications, site discrepancies, and as-built documentation.
- Assist the Project Manager in meeting project timelines, quality standards, and budget goals.
Qualifications
- Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering or a related field.
- Relevant experience in structural design, building construction, or design-and-build initiatives.
- Experience in industrial, commercial, warehouse, or large-scale construction projects is preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of reinforced concrete and steel structures, as well as structural design and detailing.
- Familiarity with Singapore codes and regulatory standards.
- Proficient in AutoCAD; experience with ETABS, SAP2000, or SAFE is a plus.
- Excellent technical, communication, and coordination abilities.

- Location: North West
- Working hours: 5.5 Days
- Salary: up to S$6,000, including AWS and VB (Salary will be based on experience & qualifications)
