Automation Test Manager (Card Domain)

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Automation Test Lead to oversee both automation and manual testing for our banking applications. Candidates with a background in Loan Origination and/or Credit Card Processing will be given special consideration.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test strategy, test plans, and automation plans.
• Lead the automation testing initiatives utilizing Tricentis Tosca.
• Create, run, and sustain automation scripts.
• Conduct API automation testing and verify end-to-end application workflows.
• Implement automation testing using Selenium or alternative open-source automation tools.
• Assist with Appium/mobile application testing.
• Carry out feasibility evaluations and aid in automation framework development.
• Prepare, execute, and report on manual testing.
• Oversee automation execution and deliver consistent test status and execution reports.
• Spot opportunities to enhance automation coverage, efficiency, and quality.
• Establish and promote automation testing best practices.
• Coordinate testing efforts with business, technical, and international teams.
• Lead and mentor members of the automation/manual testing team.
• Analyze defects and testing outcomes, providing clear status updates to stakeholders.

Mandatory Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software testing/automation testing.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Tricentis Tosca.
• In-depth knowledge of automation testing processes and methodologies.
• Experience in the Banking / Financial Services sector.
• Preferably knowledgeable in Loan Origination and/or Credit Card Processing.
• Proficient in Selenium or other open-source automation tools.
• Strong experience in API automation testing.
• Experience in test strategy development, planning, execution, and reporting.
• Expertise in building automation frameworks and conducting feasibility assessments.
• Experience in manual testing.
• Proven experience leading automation/manual testing teams or projects.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Capability to work efficiently within a global team.

Good to Have

• Appium testing experience.
• Proficiency in Java or Python.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and build automation.
• Understanding of software engineering best practices.
