Key Responsibilities

• Design, create, and maintain automated testing scripts utilizing Java and Selenium WebDriver.
• Conduct API testing with tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or equivalent frameworks.
• Develop and implement functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end test scenarios.
• Work closely with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to comprehend requirements and ensure high-quality outputs.
• Incorporate automated test suites within CI/CD workflows.
• Evaluate test outcomes, pinpoint defects, and collaborate with development teams for resolution.
• Generate test reports and deliver regular progress updates.
• Engage in Agile/Scrum practices and contribute to ongoing quality enhancements.

Essential Qualifications

• 6–9 years of experience in Automation Testing.
• Proficient programming skills in Java.
• Practical experience with Selenium WebDriver.
• Robust experience in API Testing using REST APIs and tools/frameworks such as REST Assured or Postman.
• Familiarity with TestNG/JUnit and Maven/Gradle.
• Solid understanding of SQL and database testing.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools including Jenkins is a plus.
• Experience in Agile methodologies.

Desirable Skills

• Familiarity with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber.
• Experience with cloud testing platforms or containerized environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
