Senior Simulation Engineer

Position Overview

• Execute static, dynamic, and structural thermal-mechanical analyses with minimal supervision.
• Influence design choices utilizing reliable simulation techniques while working closely with Design Engineers.
• Proactively identify risks, tackle challenges, and communicate issues clearly.
• Organize, prioritize, and ensure prompt delivery of project outputs across various teams and locations.
• Acquire new technical skills independently to address challenges through self-directed learning and research.
• Present insights and risk mitigation strategies to cross-functional teams to foster effective solutions.
• Encourage technical excellence, implement best practices, and create new tools or methodologies to improve product performance and reliability.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace, Material Science, or a related field, with over 5 years of experience in mechanical product analysis and development.
• Skilled in CAD/CAE software (e.g., ANSYS, Moldflow, Abaqus) and knowledgeable in structural (FEA), plastic molding, and modal/vibration analysis.
• Solid grasp of solid mechanics and material strength; experience in FEA automation or machine learning is advantageous.
• Familiar with measurement and data acquisition tools (e.g., B&K Pulse, strain gauge, MATLAB, Labview).
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and risk assessment abilities, with a capacity to plan, prioritize, and engage in FMEA sessions.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; capable of articulating ideas clearly and mentoring junior engineers.
• A collaborative team player with enthusiasm for FEA automation and analytics, receptive to feedback and knowledge exchange.
