Role Overview

QualityKiosk Technologies is hiring an experienced Automation Architect to spearhead enterprise-wide automation initiatives spanning Web, Mobile, and API testing. The successful candidate should bring hands-on expertise in Playwright, Selenium, Appium, and API Automation, along with proven capability in creating automation frameworks, establishing automation strategy, and applying best practices throughout quality engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute enterprise-level test automation strategy and roadmap.
• Build scalable, reusable, and maintainable automation frameworks for Web, Mobile, and API applications.
• Promote an Automation-First culture across testing and quality engineering teams.
• Set automation standards, coding guidelines, governance models, and best practices.
• Assess and propose automation tools, technologies, and frameworks that enhance testing efficiency.
• Implement automation suites with modern CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Mentor automation engineers and provide technical leadership across assignments.
• Partner with stakeholders to improve quality, productivity, and test coverage.

Mandatory Skills

• Web Automation: Playwright, Selenium
• Mobile Automation: Appium
• API Automation: REST Assured, Postman, or similar frameworks
• Programming: Java / JavaScript / TypeScript
• CI/CD: Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI
• Automation Framework Design & Architecture
• Agile & DevOps Practices

Preferred Skills

• BFSI / Banking Domain Experience
• AI/GenAI usage in Testing and Automation
• Cloud-based Test Automation
• Test Automation Governance and COE Establishment

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal Automation Architect will have extensive experience delivering enterprise automation solutions using Playwright, Selenium, Appium, and API Automation frameworks. The candidate should demonstrate strong architecture knowledge, hands-on automation proficiency, experience integrating with CI/CD pipelines, and the ability to drive automation excellence across large-scale quality engineering programs.
