Assistant Contracts Manager Building

Our client is an established A1 main contractor in Singapore with a proven track record of delivering major building projects. With ongoing growth in their projects, they are inviting an Assistant Contracts Manager to join their commercial team.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Contracts Manager in overseeing tender and post-contract activities.
• Review tender documents; prepare commercial submissions, cost analyses, and tender evaluations.
• Coordinate subcontractor procurement, contract administration, claims, and final accounts.
• Handle contractual matters such as variations, EOT submissions, claims, and contractual correspondence.
• Track project costs, budgets, cash flow, and overall commercial performance.
• Recognize contractual risks and support the resolution of commercial matters and disputes.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal project teams.
• Ensure contract documentation, commercial reports, and records are maintained accurately.

Requirements

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
• Approximately 5-8 years of relevant contracts or commercial experience within the construction industry.
• Experience in tendering, subcontract administration, cost control, and post-contract management.
• Knowledge of variations, claims, EOT submissions, and final accounts.
• Experience working with a main contractor on civil, infrastructure, or building projects.
• Strong commercial awareness, negotiation capability, and stakeholder management skills.

• Location: West
• Working hours: 5.5 Days (Alternate Saturday)
• Salary: up to S$7,500 and Bonus (Salary will commensurate according to experience & qualifications)
