AI/ML Solution Specialist (Banking, 1-year renewable contract)

Primary Responsibilities

• Engage in the design, development, and execution of AI/ML solutions and applications.
• Collaborate with technical leads, architects, and development teams to convert business and technical requirements into effective AI/ML solutions.
• Create, assess, and refine machine learning models and AI-centric applications.
• Facilitate the complete ML development lifecycle, encompassing data preparation, model creation, testing, deployment, and monitoring.
• Conduct data analysis, mapping, and preparation to aid in the development of AI/ML models.
• Integrate AI/ML models and solutions with current applications, systems, and data platforms.
• Execute testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to guarantee the quality, dependability, and performance of AI/ML solutions.
• Collaborate with application, infrastructure, security, and testing teams to ensure that solutions adhere to technical, security, and operational benchmarks.
• Assist in system integration, SIT/UAT, and performance testing as necessary.
• Examine technical challenges, perform root cause analyses, and suggest suitable solutions or enhancements.
• Create technical documentation, including solution designs, technical specifications, data flows, model documentation, and testing documentation.
• Monitor and enhance existing AI/ML solutions to boost performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Stay abreast of emerging AI/ML technologies, tools, and industry trends, identifying opportunities for their application within the organization.
• Work in partnership with internal teams and external vendors to ensure successful project execution.

Essential Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in AI/ML, Machine Learning, Data Science, or AI application development.
• Candidates with solid university AI/ML projects, internships, or pertinent academic experience will also be considered.
• Experience in developing or working with machine learning models and AI/ML applications.
• Strong understanding of the AI/ML lifecycle, including data preparation, model training, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring.
• Proficient programming skills in Python or other relevant programming languages.
• Familiarity with popular AI/ML frameworks and libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, Pandas, or their equivalents.
• Understanding of data structures, algorithms, statistics, and fundamental machine learning concepts.
• Familiarity with SQL and handling structured or unstructured data.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus.
• Experience with APIs, application integration, Git, and CI/CD is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a knack for troubleshooting technical challenges and navigating complex issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling collaboration with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn new technologies.
