Production Technician

Position Overview

• Carry out production responsibilities in alignment with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), safety protocols, and quality benchmarks.
• Manage production machinery and undertake designated manufacturing tasks.
• Accurately process material transactions and complete production records.
• Timely report any quality, safety, or operational concerns to supervisors.
• Engage in continuous improvement efforts and assist with team training sessions.
• Ensure a tidy and safe working environment.
• Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety regulations in the workplace.

Qualifications

• Preferred educational background includes secondary school education, NITEC, Higher NITEC, Diploma, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or production setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with basic computer operations.
• Capacity to adhere to SOPs, quality standards, and safety protocols.
• Strong communication and collaborative skills.
• Openness to learning and receiving training on various production methods and equipment operations.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Lean Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
• Ability to perform production duties that may involve prolonged standing, manual material handling, and repetitive hand motions as necessary.
