ACBS Subject Matter Expert (Commercial Lending – Core Banking)

Location: Singapore

Role Overview

We are in search of an experienced ACBS Subject Matter Expert to take charge of the Commercial Lending product segment within a core banking transformation initiative in Singapore. The selected candidate will facilitate requirement analysis, solution design, integrations, and testing throughout the complete loan lifecycle (origination, servicing, disbursement, and repayment) utilizing the Advanced Commercial Banking System (ACBS). This role is integral to the implementation process and necessitates close collaboration with product vendors and delivery teams.

Key Duties

• Solution Design & Requirement Analysis: Lead the ACBS lending stream by conducting workshops to establish and finalize To-Be functional and technical solution designs.
• Interface & Integration Management: Create and manage Interface Specification Documents (ISDs) for upstream and downstream integrations using MQ, REST/SOAP APIs, and file interfaces, which encompass General Ledger (GL) postings and payment systems.
• Vendor & Stakeholder Collaboration: Work directly with software vendors to assess product capabilities, configuration options, and constraints to finalize system designs.
• Full-Lifecycle Implementation Support: Offer SME assistance throughout SIT/UAT test planning, defect triage, data mapping, cutover execution, and post-go-live hypercare.
• Data Migration & Reconciliation: Support the validation of data mapping and reconciliation frameworks for commercial lending data structures.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

1. Hands-On ACBS Domain Expertise: Extensive functional and technical expertise in the Advanced Commercial Banking System (ACBS) covering commercial loan origination, servicing, disbursement, and repayment.
2. Core Banking Implementation Experience (10+ Years): Proven end-to-end implementation experience in core banking transformation projects, functioning as a hands-on individual contributor rather than in an advisory capacity.
3. Lending & GL Integration Design: Demonstrated proficiency in designing and documenting interfaces (ISDs) that connect ACBS with GL accounting, reconciliation systems, and payment rails using APIs, MQ, and file transfers.
4. Vendor & Defect Management: Direct experience in engaging with vendors regarding capabilities, assessing product configuration options, and managing the resolution of SIT/UAT defects through to completion.
5. Stakeholder & Architecture Alignment: Exceptional communication and negotiation skills to effectively present solution options and obtain design approvals from business, IT architecture, and vendor leadership.
